Vienna: Cecilia de Nisco
An emerging contemporary artist from Parma, Cecilia de Nisco is certainly one to watch. I came across her work at Liste in Basel this year at the booth of VIN VIN, perhaps Vienna’s best gallery for emerging artists. Born out of Vincenzo Della Corte's profound passion for contemporary art, the gallery is not only committed to fostering long-term collaborations with a core group of artists but also engages in ongoing projects that seek innovative formats to address the pressing questions of our time.
De Nisco’s works often blend human figures with scenes of nature and a sense of magic. We were honored to be invited to a luncheon hosted by the artist and VIN VIN Gallery in a penthouse apartment, surrounded by the De Nisco’s canvasses and served utterly delicious Italian delicacies.
